In 1999, Kendra began doing "paper-carving" or "scherenschnitte" (from olde German) as a
pastime, while watching TV. She began displaying her work in the Gallery and immediately drew
interest due to the uniqueness of the art. She began entering local craft festivals in 2002 and
currently travels throughout the South to various festivals, selling her work. In addition to her
alphabet, she routinely produces nature and wildlife scenes as well as whimsical characters
such as pigs, pirate ships and children. Please contact us for more information and for inquiries
